Set pictures and the general excitement around filming are a good way to make the year-long wait less unbearable, so I guess for one year there won't be those goodies, but shooting them back-to-back is a good idea. Do you think that'll make the wait for season 2 a little longer, since they're going to be filming for so long?

I'm still reading this but I just want to say thanks for sharing it. It's a very interesting read. I truly hope we get all three seasons, not just for us fans, but also so Sonnenfeld can bring to fruition wants appears to be a project that ignites his passions for the industry.

But anything is possible, so who knows. As long as they finish filming it before Louis and Malina become a man and woman.

If they end up shooting back to back I'm thinking the final season would be released 6-9 months after season 2. I just don't see them waiting an entire year, not after Hunger Games made that mistake with Mockingjay. Plus I don't want to wait that horribly long for it, especially given the gigantic cliffhanger season 2 will end on. Two season releases in 2018 would be great and it's not like Netflix hasn't released two seasons of a show in one year before. They could even follow the two Friday the 13th's in that year if they wanted to continue the trend (granted they are a bit close together that year).
I had hoped they'd starting filming in February or March, I really wanted to get another season this calendar year. It's just difficult waiting for it given how long we've been waiting already. Oh well, at least season one is upon us.

Just got back from the screening in NYC!
We watched the first episode & I won't spoil anything especially because it comes out in a couple hours (they confirmed it's midnight pacific time), but know that it is AMAZING. So well done.
Handler was hilarious as always, Neil and Patrick & Barry were great. I'll try to type up notable parts from the Q&A tomorrow but tbh everyone will be so busy with the show's getting released & they didn't say much of substance anyway, it was mostly some funny stories from filming & whatnot.

Well, there's only five minutes left!!! After all this waiting... only five more minutes! I'm so, so, so excited right now. I'm probably going to watch the first episode, then I'll have to go to sleep, and I'm going to TRY my best to spread the episodes out over this weekend with my family. We'll see! I might avoid the forum, though, at risk of spoilers! Anyway, hope everyone has an awesome viewing experience! Can't wait to hear everyone's thoughts!

Okay so the first season is now on Netflix. They have gone with naming the episodes "The Bad Beginning: Part One" etc.
