thanks terry, that's how the word is actually spelled in english, unlike "Perú" which is only the spanish word for Peru.

there is no tilde in the english language and more difficult to type on an american keyboard than an acute accent. i win

many words borrowed from other languages retain their accents in english. and on an apple computer, you just have to hold down the letter to make any accent, so it's equally easy for tildes and acutes.
on that note, i've changed my name to "cannibal" bearess. i've only added some blood to baby hannibal's mouth because i thought it might be racist if i gave him a bone through his nose.

taking into account the recent discussions about the THH cover's horror qualities, I feel my new profile pic (EDIT: and adjusted name) strikes the balance between my username and halloween. having had no idea what to wear on halloween this year, i am now considering that mad doctor ain't such a bad idea.
