Which ASoUE character do you relate to the most? Which character do you have the most in common with?
I don't adore the freakish trio for no reason. I really recognise myself in them three. Just like freaks, I am envious, competitive, self-dissatisfied and deeply concerned with other's opinion about me. I am also somewhat similiar to aunt Josephine( even my family members compare me to her) because I am nervous, suspicious and somewhat too careful. Sometimes I can act like Hector too. I have a few in common with Jerome. I don't have his peacefulness or insecurity but I do have his ability to recognise my flaws and my inferiority to some people which is mixed with self-indulgency and weak will( this "I am not as brave as you and your mother and won't even try to change" thing).
Character whom I'd call my polar opposites are Violet, Phil and Charles. Violet because I am cold with my younger brother, interested in human science and arts and I love the color pink. Phil because I am a pessimist. Charles because there is no way I would let anyone treat me like Sir treats Charles, I am by no means too forgiving.

Violet. I love her so much -- she's both my favourite and the one I relate to the most. Her general attitude to life, the things she values, her morals, the way she treats people, her practicality and independence -- it all resonates with me. Plus, the creativity needed for her inventions is something I need for my drawings, so I connect to her on that level, too. Someone once said I must be like Klaus because I'm always reading, and it's true that I read a lot -- but all the Baudelaires do; Klaus just happens to read an exceptional amount, and I think that simply reading a lot is quite a superficial similarity, when taken on its own. In terms of personality, I relate so much more strongly to Violet than I do to Klaus -- and again, there's the creative side which Violet requires for her inventions and I require for my drawings, but which I don't particularly see in Klaus.
Other characters I relate to in degrees are: Monty (I love & am fascinated by animals, and he's refreshingly cheerful), Sunny (her bluntness is something which amuses me and which I can see in myself at times), and I suppose (though I haven't ever particularly thought of it like this before), Lemony, because I agree with his general sentiments and statements.
My polar opposite ... perhaps Ishmael. I loathe Ishmael. I cannot stand hypocrisy & pretentiousness, two things he has in spades.

I think I have the most in common with Klaus and Sunny. I am always reading to try to learn more, and I feel like a lot of what I read is kind of a secret from the majority of the world. And I love cooking! I am always trying new recipes and experimenting, and we hardly ever eat the same meal twice. I am also similar to Aunt Josephine in that I am afraid to answer the phone. But I am not afraid of being electrocuted; people can never hear me, and I do not like talking loudly, and I feel embarrassed when I have to repeat myself. I am the opposite of Esme. I really don't care about fashion. I will always choose functionality instead.
