A musical would be great, but unless they made something incredibly long(like when Nicholas Nickelby was on Broadway in the 80s), I feel like they’d run into the same issues that the ASOUE film did with cutting out plot points.

Musicals are able to tell a lot in a short time through music. It would be very interesting to hear Lemony Snicket's narration being sung. In addition, since the musical will take place after the Netflix series is released, it is possible to understand that the target audience will already be very familiar with the plot.

I imagine the musical would be a mix between the 2004 movie version and original book material.
Having the plots of The Bad Beginning, Reptile Room and Wide Window in it.
