The defense post was late. Everyone had already stated that they agreed with the claim that Mara is actually an undercover spy. So the accusation is valid, and no one can withdraw or change their votes.

Detectives win! Congratulations!

My personal observations: I thought Mara tried to play it too safe. This left her exposed to simple and direct manipulation by the detectives, who wisely used counterintuitive questions to trap the spy. The location was particularly difficult, but the hint that there was an ambient pig counteracted it quite a bit. There are few places mentioned in all of Asoue where a pig is present. And that sisters in faith are present. And in which a competition is underway.

I actually saw Glittery's first oink before I checked my PMs, and I figured out where we were. I was kind of hoping it would say I was the spy. (It's mostly because this scene always struck me as ripe for exploration, like which of the Baudelaire parents Elwyn is the brother of. Was he in VFD?)
