I am not the spy. Looking through everyone’s answers, Hermes seemed the most suspicious. There is obviously a very talented spy in our midst, but it is not me. Pay close attention, someone might slip and reveal themselves. We must stick together to catch the spy!

I'm inclined to disagree with this charge.

I'm inclined to disagree with this charge. That's totally fair because I actually picked the wrong member of this group in my previous answer and never bothered to double check it before posting. In my defence I was extremely tired but that's no excuse, so I would like to offer my full apologies to R. . I actually think you are the spy Marlowe . The one answer you have given in this round was very non-specific and you've been eager to shut down anyone else's spy accusations; because you knew that if they went through, that person would be revealed to be innocent of the charge and the range of possible choices would narrow to just you and me. And in answer to the previous question you asked me; no, it would not be safe to exit this location at all unless one had access to a certain type of pressurized craft.

Well well well! Isn't this a turn of events. I make the following defense against this accusation (which GAF isn't even allowed to make considering he already accused someone else): In my first answer, I said that I arrived to the area by car. I needn't spell this out; the spy will catch on too easily. My character arrived to the area surrounding the location by car, plain and simple. If necessary, try checking your copy of the book. In my second answer, I said that I hope to find someone I've been looking for. This is entirely in keeping with my character, who is in this location to meet the personage they have been separated from. To quote the great poet Avril Lavigne: can I make it any more obvious? I asked Hermes a question about the biggest problems in this place, and later, he answered to another query with my desired response: "monsters" is a potential threat. The main reason I asked him that initially was to test his knowledge of this location's connection with these "monsters". And now I am being called a spy by someone who seemingly can't even make up his mind about who to accuse, in blatant defiance of the game's rules. The accuser gains two additional points. The spy can also accuse someone, and if everyone agrees, the accusation is considered valid. In this case, the spy wins the game, and gets 2 points for the victory and 2 additional points for cheating the others. Each can make only one charge during the Round. If the charge is not valid, the game continues. Each player can only make one charge per game. You can show that you agree by saying "I agree", or you can show that you do not agree by saying "I disagree" by a post. The accused can make a defense post, trying to convince others that he is not the spy. But no one can write arguments accusing anyone during this stage of the game, not even the person making the early accusation. (This rule serves to increase the spy's chances of victory, which we need to recognize are small). Be careful with the information you give during your defense, in case you decide to defend yourself. The spy can try to guess where everyone is at any time, including after a defense post. I patiently await Hermes and Roxy's verdicts.

I'm going to disagree" and "I'm inclined to disagree" really sound "eager" to you? The rest of your "support" for this charge (which you're not allowed to give, you're just supposed to make the accusation and leave it at that) is a bizarre over-reading relying on leaps to conclusions.

(Don't worry, I'm just playing the character I was assigned. I'm not actually that obsessive about this game. Good catch with the rule about not making multiple accusations, I had totally forgotten about that.)

I am the master of this game and so I make an intervention. Please, those who noticed your violations of the rules remove the violations from the corresponding posts, so that the game can flow again).

I agree with the charge, and could Marlowe stop being so sarcastic? As The Master I need to invalidate the charge. Since it was made outside the rules.

A place where I can find someone I've been looking for. gothicarchiesfan, would it be safe to exit this location right now? gothicarchiesfan Can you answer that question directly and then ask another question? (You have 40 hours to ask something for someone)

I'm starting to grow uneasy with the surroundings. Hermes, is there any food to eat in this place?
