I guessed from an early point that this was something to do with Prufrock Prep, but I could not pin it down more precisely. I worked out who Jean wwas quickly: I could not at all make out who Roxy was (and did initially think she was the spy), but once the place was revealed I could see it at once.
But wheat?

I can say that I was cheated ... But I knew that if it were Sherry Ann, she would have won the game a long time ago. She just wanted to postpone the victory, didn't she?

My plan was to try to kill off baudelaiire in hopes of getting the extra two points. But she was too good and too clearly Carmelita, so I just made my guess and ended the round.
Here is my evil monologue:
By the time I was asked "Is this place big or small?", the following facts had been established: - there are animals around (but not obviously so, I thought, or Jean wouldn't have asked) - this hint proved to be most helpful in eliminating locations - it's in a secluded location - at least one character doesn't like being there - it was obviously big or obviously small (not of an ambiguous size)
From that, I created my list of suspects.
PRIME SUSPECTS - Mortmain Mountains / Mount Fraught - The island in The End / Ishmael's Tent / the arboretum - Prufrock Prep / Nero's Office / Cafeteria / Orphan's Shack
LESSER SUSPECTS - Damocles Dock (not distinct enough / unlikely to fit 6 characters) - Lousy Lane (not obviously big or small) - The Carmelita (not obviously big or small) - Curdled Cave (unlikely to fit 6 characters) - Hector's home / Nevermore tree (too obviously animals?) - Caligari Carnival / Olivia's Tent (too obviously animals?)
Obviously, the island, Mt. Fraught, or the Prufrock Cafeteria would be "big," but the shack or Nero's office would be "small." So I needed an answer that would work for all my suspects. Hence, "Look up to find out." This turned out to be a great answer, because the Orphan's Shack has a distinct ceiling.
After roxy222 said she lived here all her life, I eliminated the Orphan's Shack. But then I added it back after her defense, figuring she was a crab.
willis's "wall" comment confirmed we were indoors, and so my prime suspect became Prufrock Prep / Nero's office / the Orphan's Shack, although I left open the possibility I was forgetting someplace. The Orphan's Shack was my first choice because it's the one with distinctive walls.
baudelaiire confirmed food was nonexistent here, so I eliminated the cafeteria for certain, and Nero's office tentatively, since he does have bags of candy there.
Jean's mocking "What can I hear?" confirmed he was Nero, and thus I grew more confident we were in the Orphan's Shack.
I still wasn't absolutely positive, though, so I answered roxy222's question by reaffirming the unpleasantness of the space. I imagined myself to be Klaus.
Josh Sharpe / Marlowe's "wheat" answer threw me, but I assumed they meant hay, and by this point I was certain we were in the Orphan's Shack. So I set about a plan to try to vote off another character. I settled on baudelaiire, who I thought to be the most suspicious.
Jean's question was confusing, but I assumed he was trying to trap me, so I answered simply. I was in a place to provide more details at this point, but I thought that might make me appear more suspicious than not.
Finally, when it became clear we would have no consensus on a spy who wasn't me, I made my guess to end the round.

My trap was to get you to explain yourself in too much detail. Unfortunately you have deduced my true intentions. If you said something like "no, but it’s close by" I would be sure you were the spy.

By the time you asked, I knew where we were. So if I was going to add detail, I would have said something like, “No, and no one has whistled tunefully here in quite some time.” I did think about doing that, but my non-spy self would be hesitant to reveal extra info late in the game.

You were amazing ... I thought: "if Sherry Ann is the spy, she already knows where we are, and in this case she will want to give extra information to avoid suspicion. " This match looked like those films in which "ah, but he had prepared himself for the trap and set another trap for when those who set the first trap thought I fell into the trap, in fact he will be inside an even bigger trap". I don't remember any specific film, but I've seen something like that. Marlowe do you want to be the next master again?

Jean, I'm afraid I'll be tied up IRL for the next few days. I look forward to reading along when I'm less busy, though!
