I disagree with the point distribution. If it was the main limbermill floor versus the dormitory, sure, but Orwell's office and the mill are two very different places that happen to be in the same book. You wouldn't say that Last Chance General Store and Heimlich Hospital are the same place because they're in the same book with similar characters, would you?

The master's decisions are unquestionable. But, I can give my opinion as a player. I took advantage of the cue given by Olie to try to push the spy towards the sawmill and away from the real location.

Yeah I would agree I shouldn't get 6 points, especially as, on reflection, I feel that I should have been able to deduce that it was Dr Orwells office rather than the Lumber Mill

Spyfall is an engaging social deduction game where participants must identify the spy among them, or the spy must discover the secret location. The game is set in the universe of the book series (or sometimes in the universe of Netflix canon)
Here's how it works:
- At the beginning of each round, every player is secretly assigned a location from the ASOUE books and a character from the series to role-play, except for one player who is designated as the spy without any knowledge of the location.
- Players then take turns asking each other questions, trying to prove they know the location by subtly hinting at it through their answers and character portrayal, without giving it away to the spy.
- The twist is that while the players are questioning each other, the spy is listening and trying to guess the location based on the information exchanged. The spy must blend in, pretending to be familiar with the location, all while gathering clues.
- The round ends when a player calls a vote to accuse someone of being the spy, or when the spy thinks they have enough information to guess the location.
If you are accused and any of the other players disagree that you are the spy, the game picks up where it left off. If the game time runs out (13 days) the person with the most votes is accused of being the spy. in case of a tie, the spy wins.
- If the spy is caught, or if they guess the location incorrectly, the other players win. If the spy correctly guesses the location, or if non-spy players mistakenly accuse one of their own, the spy wins. At any time in the game the spy can say: "I am the spy, we are in this location".
If you are accused of being a spy, you can try to argue that you are not a spy in a post. No one can argue anything except at this moment.
Remember, since all players are ASOUE enthusiasts, it's important to craft questions and answers carefully.
Don't be so obvious in your questions and answers that you make the spy's life easier, and don't be so clueless that you ask questions or give answers that make other people think you're the spy. (depending on your strategy, sometimes this is a good choice, in order to gain the opportunity to speak your arguments. You decide that.)
And you can't ask a question to someone who just asked you a question.

I never understood this game and am too lazy to read the rules, can you tldr to me? tdlr: you are given a character from asoue and a location. you do not know the characters of any other player. one person is the intruder or "spy" and has to guess the location you ask questions to find out who is "on your side" aka not lying about who/where they are you should be vague enough so the spy can't guess where you are, but specific enough so the other players know you're not lying.
you cannot ask someone who just asked you a question you can accuse someone of being the spy one time per game
if you guess the spy, you win if the spy guesses the location right, they win.
