MisterM you can defend yourself if you want. Others have up to 46 hours to say whether they agree or not. If anyone disagrees, the game returns to where it left off. If someone doesn't vote by the deadline, the game returns to where it left off. One detail, this phase of the game lasts until January 2nd at the latest. If by then no one has a valid accusation, we will go to the general vote, where the person with the most votes will be considered accused and in the event of a tie, the spy will win.

I mean, I know I didn't answer two of the questions, but that was out of my inability of check in regularly.
I am not the spy, obviously. I think the only way to defend myself is set out my thoughts on who is, but I am struggling to work out who is though. I do think that whoever is the spy has a vauge idea of where we are (the environment and the age range of who is there, for example). If i were to look at what information has been presented, and who origionated it rather than repeating or making educated guesses, I came to the conclusion that Twiggy, Glittery and Ollie are most likely not the spy. Of the other three (Semblance, Zort and Tiran) I felt that Semblance is still the least likely to be the spy so I accused him to see how the other two reacted. Zortegus reaction is hard to read - I don't fully feel that he could be the spy, but his actions did make me more doubtful. So my false accusation did nothing to clarify things for me. And now Semblance has accused me. I think this is understandable as my actions have been very suspicious. I just hope that someone agrees to my reasoning for who is the spy, and does not let the actual spy win out.

You know what, that was very well said. So well said, in fact, that it gave away the answer. I am the spy, might as well get that out of the way, but in your rebuttal you mentioned "the environment." I was torn between the Snow Scout cave on Mount Fraught or the Orphans Shack, but that outdoorsy word indicates the former. We are in the Snow Scout cave on Mount Fraught.

The spy's pride was strong. (This always defeats me, but at least I'm not the only one). People like me know that the safest thing is to just let someone else fail in our place, but our pride simply sees that as a defeat. I even warned the spy earlier that I would only accept the exact answer, in an attempt to make it clear that trying to guess an approximate location would not be a good idea. But pride always speaks louder. I wanted to say this before clearly announcing the results, reversing what I usually do, as MisterM has already indicated that the spy made a mistake. Site: Location: inside the giant net (as it is carried by eagles through the air.) Mara (Ollie): Boy Snow Scout I really thought the spy would more accurately perceive the location after a few answers. For example, due to the outcome of the draw, I had to give a response that I believe revealed that we were in a dangerous situation. I said my main way was to survive. When coupled with the cold TSS scenario, I thought the spy might have deduced that you were in the net that captured the Snow Scouts. Also, something was said about the Baudelaires escaping the situation we are in. I thought the spy might have thought, "In what situation in TSS did the Baudelaires escape a dangerous situation where the other children didn't?" "Irritating and painful, just like the people." This answer that the spy provided made me believe that he already knew exactly where the location was. But now I understand that this was actually a manipulation done by MisterM with the question: "what is the wildlife like here?". This was a good strategy to push the spy in the wrong direction. I believe this question is what made the spy gain enough confidence to bet big on the ground instead of something in the air. This was the accurate participation of MisterM who managed to read the flow of the game, and push the spy on the wrong path. A big risk in drawing attention to yourself, but there are no victories for the detectives without taking risks, now that everyone is used to it. For newbies who may not have understood MisterM 's strategy, let me be clearer. Just as he explained in his defense, MisterM knew the spy was someone who was deducing things very quickly. In order to deal with the spy, he thought about how the spy would be thinking, putting himself in the spy's place. He thought about what information the spy already had and what he didn't yet have. He thought "this game is already basically lost. The amount of information available would be enough for an asoue fan to deduce which book we are in and which characters are there. The only chance of victory is if I trick the spy, passing misinformation. Where else could the same characters be interacting with each other? What question could I ask to trick the spy into thinking we're there rather than in the correct location?" When he asked this question, he ran the risk of the other players thinking he didn't know where he was. And for that he was accused. When he was accused, his defense gave him the opportunity to speak, and he took this chance to subtly trick the spy into thinking he was somewhere else. A patient spy could accept the fact that he was being deceived. But it's hard not to be seduced by his own wit. SCOREBOARD

Oh, wow. That's a sneaky location. Well played, everyone. When Lucio mentioned survival, I presumed the person he was substituting for was playing one of the Baudelaires, who had entered the cave to survive attacks by snow gnats. Very well played, everyone.
Edit: let me more clearly give my thought process. On my first question, I called myself a child because the books revolve around the Baudelaires, so they're always in locations. There's always a child I can pretend to be. My bit about wildlife was meant to match either the snow gnats or the crabs in the orphans shack, but it was the consistent mentions of traveling that made me lean towards the latter.
