There are enough people to make a certain vehicle move. R. Would you say you can find fish around here?

I am indeed, but thankfully not one of the ones who are having to endure the performance of a certain ex-classmate. Optimism is my Phil-osophy Why do you put up with this irritating brat's routine?

Sure. I'll confess. I am the spy. It's a bit difficult to hide when there are only 4 other players. I would like to guess that we are on Mount Fraught.

That was a comically fast-paced round.

The spy has revealed himself and ... he is partially correct!
This was an unusually quick round.
The place where you were was as follows: The Cave, the Mortmain Mountains.
As I am the Master, I will reveal the secret identity of each of the players:
missapostraphe- snow scout limeny - uncle ben
j lucio - quigley as sweater scout roxy222 - carmelita gothicarchiesfan- spy
Bravo deductions everyone!

Well, that was close. GAF almost got it right. I think the only chance he had to deduce correctly and precisely where we were was adding my answer (which I tried to simulate Quigley) with Roxy222's answer, in which she was specific that it would not be possible to find fish in this specific place. This implied that it was a specific location on the hill and not the hill as a whole. The question and answer regarding the former residents could have led him to think of the mountain lions. Difficult to deduce all of that, I have to admit. But I think it was possible. And GAF came very close.

I have made some notes in my commonplace book about this game. Among them is the following observation, as a master: The level of difficulty of the round must be proportional to the number of players.
In other words, if the location is too difficult to deduce in a game with few players, the spy will be in a very complicated situation quickly, since the detectives' responses can be very specific and still not reveal the location. On the other hand, detectives are expected to give more vague answers in places that are easy to deduce, after all if they are too specific in the questions and answers the spy will easily deduce where they are. The spy can only hide when everyone is giving more or less vague answers. On the other hand, when everyone gives specific answers, the spy can quickly deduce where he is.
In this last Round, I would say that GAF did not take the opportunity given by the first question asked to him: "Do you know anything about the former residents here?" I think both the "yes, I know" answer and the "no, I don't know" answer would be welcome in most contexts. Unfortunately, a good spy needs to rely on luck to deal with the misfortune of being asked first, when he has no information. But if he realizes that he is in a dead end and that counting on luck is the only option he has, he will be forced to count on luck. Because if he gives a vague answer to a question with options, (yes or no, or this or that) he will already be delivering that he is the spy right from the start.
Still, the chances are 50%. And if someone accuses you right away, you can defend yourself by saying that you are a character that nobody had thought of, because it was not so obvious. This argument is very powerful, because sometimes it is simply true, as in the case where roxy222 was an animal. You can always count on the possibility that the GM was strangely creative when choosing the characters. Even if you don't convince all the players, you only need to convince one of them, and since they can't argue with each other, the chances of the spy are high to get away with it.
Furthermore, in this bad scenario, the spy gains information that the answer he gave was wrong. pq GAF itself used this method in round 13.
