Sigh.
If you read both of my answers carefully, you'll see that they are very vague while referencing (in a slightly coded way) two details that could only be known by someone who is not the spy. Please just re-read my answers with an eye out for strange choices of words (two words in the first, one word in the second). I had no idea what this location was at first (I haven't read the books in years and JL does my head in by choosing obscure places). But I read up about it and picked two details about how my character arrived here.
This probably gives the spy too much info and we're screwed, but you guys forced my hand. I'm too new to this game to tell if I should be disappointed in you or disappointed in myself. But I still think I picked thoughtful answers. The questions were mixed: My first question was very pointed and now we're sure twiggy is not the spy. My second question was bad because I was in a rush and couldn't think of anything else. Still, you should notice I subtly modified JL's classic question to reflect that I know where we are.
Anyway, you can sentence me, but you will regret it. And if we lose I'm going to be mad, because as you can see I actually put time into this round and it may have backfired.

The game of returning to this point. gothicarchiesfan , if someone came here whistling a specific song, and met one of the occupants of that place, would you say that whistler would be in the right place? gothicarchiesfan you have 35 hours to answer that question.

The problem is, I genuinely don't know how to answer it.Nothing I've ever read about this location, it's place in the story, or the people in it, mentions whistling. But that hardly matters because it's very unlikely that anyone would want to come here, especially when it's in this terrible state and in uncertain condition. In fact, all of us who are here would rather we weren't. @jacobm Where you going from here?

I can’t exactly smell anything distinctive, not that I’d care anyway. gothicarchiesfan, why are you here if you don’t want to be?

It is complicated to say my true reasons: at the same time that I was trying to capture some people I was also doing something good. In the end, I'm here.

I'm so sorry for not responding. For some reason, none of the threads I'm subscribed to have tagged me or shown me that they've updated. I didn't realise this until a few minutes ago.

I’m considerably older than everyone else here — old enough to have known of the dangerous wildlife nearby for years. mustache glasses, are you a volunteer or a villain?

Baffling that no one accused roxy222 after her weird no smell answer. I guess most of us weren’t paying close enough attention but urbanletteropener had a prime opportunity and wasted it on asking me another question even after I’d explained myself.
Terrible round but at least we didn’t lose.

I am the spy. We are on top of Mount Fraught. The spy revealed herself and tried to guess where everyone was. The spy made a serious mistake: she did not correctly guess the location.
So, the other players / detectives won the round! Congratulations on having, as a group, deceived the spy.

Now I will comment. I didn't understand why @ roxy222 already tried to guess so early. I think it has to do with her impulsive personality. While she used this impulsiveness only to make accusations without evidence, such impusulsiveness could be harmless through the disagreement of the other players. Sometimes she even helped to acquit someone or help gather evidence against a real spy. But an impulsive spy ... is a dangerous attitude especially with many players and with me as a master. As I warned, when there are many players, I naturally increase the level of difficulty for the spy. Knowing this should lead her to be cautious. Especially since the detective team itself was divided on suspicion. I don't think everyone was convinced of mustache glasses 's innocence. But, could an attentive spy have at least come close to deducing something through the answers given? We will see: "That's not a queer question but it has a queer answer." I think the word "queer" is a reference to Queequeg ... Really, difficult to be caught by the spy. And that was the goal was that after all. I personally really liked that answer. "i'm wearing my uniformed suit, as well as my spectacles.": To unite Uniform suit with glasses ... I would have thought a lot about something related to TGG or TAA. what color is most prominent here ?: Blue. It could be the sky, the sea or so many other things ... "If you got here in time, you would find me in step with three very fearless dame / dudes." - Really ... The three could hypothetically be the baudelaires. It would really confuse me. The defense of mustache glasses should have made R. more alert about the place being "obscure". Now that I have reread his defense, I could see even more that his choice of words was very good. I can say, however, that my choice of words when I played in the place of GAF was quite revealing, and you can blame the dice for that, as I try to determine the degree of exposure through the dice. I said, "It is complicated to say my true reasons: at the same time that I was trying to capture some people. I was also doing something good. In the end, I'm here." In saying "In the end, I'm here" I basically revealed what book we were in. Subtle ... But the spy didn't catch the detail.

Why the eff would I choose such strange phrasing as "in step" unless I was trying to point out to my colleagues (seus idiotas) that I, Kit Snicket, came to this location with the STEP-family of Widdershins, Fiona, and Fernald? I'm going to take a break from this game. You ALL do my head in.
