What led you to distrust him?

His answers to questions felt suspect to me, but on a further reread I feel like a goof because of how obviously his answers match with the setting. I also suspected Tiran O'Saurus, but MisterM's suspicions pushed me over the edge and I jumped the gun. I should have waited for them to each answer another question.

In fact, that game was already lost to detectives from the moment Tyrannosaurus deduced where he was, which was really too soon. In just 4 questions he already knew that he was inside a means of transport, where there was at least one volunteer, and that at least one person there never read the news. As a dedicated fan of asoue, that was enough for him to realize where he was. If he had wanted to declare victory at that moment, he would have done so, as the answer he himself provided indicates. His response was so explicit, it could have been seen as distrust. After all, why would someone who is concerned not to reveal too much information practically claim that they were on a transport vehicle heading to a hospital? He was actually playing with the others by trying to prove his innocence. In this game I like to investigate not by asking questions about the place, but about the characters that are there. I think that this way I can both ascertain the knowledge of the target of the question about who is there, as well as prevent the target of the question from providing information if the target of the question is not the spy. In other words, Spyfall is a game where you have to worry not only about the incoherent answers that are signs that the spy doesn't know where he is, but also about the coherent answers that are information that can make the spy win. My "try not to ask the wrong questions" advice is more than a reference to ATWQ, it's real advice.

TIL that the characters are explicitly from the setting 👀

Yeah this was a fun but impossible round. I tired to give a really vauge first answer, and then it was pretty clear to everybody where we were by the time I got asked another question so i basically just gave up.
