I randomly came up with the idea of creating moodboards inspired by different ASOUE characters/locations. The first one is inspired by Daniel Handler’s answer to my question, ‘it depends on what you mean by survived’. I thought of an older teenage/adult Carmelita, still living with Esmé, and I thought of what she would be like. Eventually, I began seeing her as an insecure, violent girl who can’t get rid of her hatred of the Baudelaires or of past trauma. Here is the moodboard for this concept.

I like the "I hate you for what you did" reference. Phoebe Bridgers is cool. If you haven't heard her song "Motion Sickness", give it a listen. Some of the lyrics could totally fit Carmelita's experience.

I’ve decided that from now on I’m doing requests. Any characters/locations/ships/theories etc. you would like to see?

theory: Beatrice planned Bertrand's murder years in advance. And she pretended to love him while they were married. (I don't believe in that anymore, but it's a concept that I would like to see represented)

Creative associations! "Sweet But Psycho" is a great song for a Carmelita mood board.
Given your affinity for Esme, I would be interested in your board for her life after the Denouement fire.

Oh, wow! That’s really cool, R.! My favorite image has to be the woman with the bat on her head.

I also really like the baticeer costume. Nice Melanie Martinez reference, too.

Sort of! I learned about her from The Voice, then looked her up a few years later because I enjoyed her performance of "Lights" so much. That was around the time "Dollhouse" was released.
