For the following reasons, I believe Dante may be Daniel Handler in disguise. One: He hates theorists and anyone who wishes to solve the mysteries of the series. Two: He once, a long time ago, tried to frame Tragedy of being Daniel Handler in disguise. Three: Judging by a conversation we had in PM, he seemingly knows a lot about Judaism. Four: When he writes fanfiction, he writes just like Daniel Handler as Lemony Snicket. Five: he has never shown up on zoom meets; nobody has seen his face. Six: He isn’t following anyone except Antenora, (could she be in on it too?) and never likes anyone’s posts. Seven: I just caught him shamelessly advertising one of Daniel Handler’s works, even providing a link to buy tickets. Eight:He is constantly saying things about PFB that no normal fan would know. What have you got to say for yourself, Dante?

I would also like to know about this too. Dante is a great volunteer with a lot of knowledge, but is also really suspicious in this! Let's find out.

As a defense to my rival, I say that he cannot be Daniel Handler, because not even Daniel Handler knows ASOUE as well as Dante. If Dante had written ASOUE, he would not have inserted that letter in TSS and then changed his mind about what was there.

I hope you're right. Do you have any solution for that letter? Something that no one has thought of? If you have something really good, I will support you in unmasking Dante.

Similar to the letters in TUA, I believe that that letter was an old one that was simply put in there for context and to add to the story. Lemony wished to tell his readers about his search for Kit, which happened at the same time as TCC and TSS.

But he says in the letter that he just wrote about the rise of the Baudelaires to the secret base through the secret passage ... Doesn't that indicate that the letter was written at the same time he was writing the chapter? He further states in the letter that he is yet to reach the secret base. If he is still going to get there, how could he know about what happened there with the Baudelaires?
This solution is not good. I'm sorry. I can't help unmasking Dante with just that.

He ran away the minute I exposed his true identity leaving some sob story about cyberbullying, after confessing in a strategic manner intended to make it look like a joke.

And Dante is not DH. Several of us know enough about him to be sure of that. Obviously we can't give you all the evidence without breaking his privacy, but we xan assure you it's true.

In fact, if Dante had written ASOUE, there would be no contradictions or inconsistencies. It would be a more coherent set of books.

I’m not role playing. And I thought you would believe me by now! As ASOUE fans if a child came up to you and accused someone of being someone else in disguise wouldn’t you just believe them?
