Each year we have a rotating category at the darkies. This year our category is Ghastliest Gamer.

Sherry Ann is the only of this years nominees to have won before.

Best Pairing
So this year Tragedy, Bee, Sherry Ann, Jean Lucio, Dante, Roxy222, urbanletteropener, gothicarchiesfan and Zortegus have all been nominated in various permutations.
Tragedy has won this award three times, with Fancy (2008), Sixteen (2009), and with Beyonce (?) in 2010.
Jean Lucio won last year with Dante. Dante also won in 2015 with Antenora.
Zortegus won in 2018 with Linda.
Bee & Sherry Ann have not won before, but have been nominated previously.

But seriously, Emma wasn't as strict about qualifications as more recent organisers have been. are what? As I understand it, the name of the the award has been 'Best Writing' since 2015, but the rule since 2016 has been that it's for creative writing, and that's often added in brackets to make it clear. Well, the nominations are strictly speaking for different things - one is for the story alone, the other for the thread, including comments. |
