Ellington Feint  Handler ruining my ship with literal defenestration is such classic Handler. I blame him entirely for my unhinged rant on here a year ago.
I felt a little silly reading something marketed as children’s literature because it had been a decade since I read ASoUE and I wasn’t sure if my memory was too generous, but nope. It wasn’t, and this series destroyed me.

Compliments are a good start, then followed with a question - like where they got their shirt from, or better something involving their opinion. If it's a Star Wars shirt or somthing, ask them what they thought about the latest movie or something, Idk, I don't talk to Star Wars nerds.

Me and my wife are childhood friends. I don't remember when or under what circumstances I met her. But it certainly wasn't love at first sight. This month we will complete ten years of marriage.

Literal defenestration? DH actually threw someone out of a window? The window was already broken to be fair, but Merriam-Webster says nothing about it having to be closed or shattered to count. I'm not sure what metaphorical defenestration would be, but I was trying to emphasize the melodramatic flare with which Handler destroyed my expectation of a happy ending for Ellington and Snicket. But was not your ship ruined anyway by the fact that all the later stories revealed Lemony's devotion to Beatrice? I thought they could have a nice few months together in Winnipeg, or at least an epilogue. I don't remember much from ASoUE, so that helped. |

So how do you usually talk to strangers? I compliment a shirt if it is a franchise I know. Other than that, I don't talk to strangers. I usually just make intense and overtly flirtatious eye contact if I like someone and put myself in a situation where one of us will talk to each other Earlier this year I had a horrible encounter with a man who ran after me in the street to give me his number when I was on the way to the supermarket this time. That was completely uninvited by me, and I didn't appreciate being chased down, it was enough to make me walk home on my way back the long way too  |

On an old now-defunct Sims 2 forum and a dating site. Due to an unexplained break up last year (would be nice to know what I did wrong, so I won't do it again), I'm back on that same dating site. The amount of weddings/engagements my Facebook friends are showing off, it's very depressing.
