Every weekend I think I should do something more chill, and they all somehow end up so much busier.

This weekend I am going on a date with a girl for pancakes, going gym, going through to Edinburgh for the evening and racing a 10k (hoping for a PB), and then getting Mexican food with a friend in the capital.

Really tempted to just leave my next weekend completely empty so I can do nothing for a few days

Today I'll start the weekend early because I have a day off from work because of the heat wave reading, enjoying the crazy hot day inside the pool and finish my night watching Drag Race, drinking gin tonic and beer and sleeping as much as I can

Saturday is for cleaning and organizing the new house (we've been moving for a month now and we still can't finish

On Sunday probably have lunch with my family

actually went to a small party with new people at the cinema I work at; we all did Covid-tests beforehand. had a great time, ended up playing music over the screening room speakers. everyone had some film-related costume, I went as Edward Scissorhands. woke up with a massive hangover today, tho.

I was slightly hoping for 45-something or under, but there's always other races.

If you seriously want to get started with running, I recommend running outside if you can! It makes it a lot more enjoyable, even in Winter
