What nuts does everyone like and dislike?

I like: 

• Hazelnuts 
• Pecans
• Brazil nuts
• Almonds
• Chestnuts
• Peanuts (but only really when they're made into other things like peanut butter or sauces)
• Walnuts (occasionally)
• Pine nuts

I don't like:

• Cashews 
• Coconuts
• Macadamia nuts
• Pistachios

(I know some of these technically count as seeds, not nuts, but shhhhh)

I forgot about pine nuts! Edited to include them on my list of good nuts.

Lol I had no idea about brazil nuts and selenium poisoning but I'm still alive so I can't have gone too badly wrong.

Contorversial opinion maybe, but i dont really care for nuts. I dont really dislike them, but i dont see the points of them. They dont really add anything much in the way of taste for me.

Does everyone know that Brazil Nuts are called "Castanhas do Pará" (Pará Nuts) in Brazil? Pará is one of the 26 states of Brazil.

About Brazil nuts, eat at most one a day. (If you are going to eat once in a while, never eat more than three.) In the states of Brazil where Brazil nuts are more common, (even in school lunches), a high concentration of selenium has been found in children...

i always have a mixed bag of nuts handy. i like any and all except for brazil nuts. i had no idea about their toxicity, but i feel validated in my dislike for them.

the point of nuts, misterm, is that they are superfoods that provide a great source of nutrients. they are therefore the perfect snack when you're hungry, and when making a larger meal would take too long.

as for taste, my favorites are probably pistachios and, as a sweet, candied almonds. macadamia nut cookies are also dope. pine nuts are a good addition to rice and salads.

Interestingly enough I did know that, but I only learned it a couple of days ago from my dad, who has a Brazilian colleague.

I only like nuts roasted & salted, which makes them not nearly as healthy to munch on. my favorites are pistachios, but they hurt my fingers to open and the pre-shelled ones are like a 100 dollars for a packet.
