I've been digging through old threads because I'm a glutton for punishment with too much free time. It's really a shame that none of us could have predicted the need to take better care of the way we stored our media. I have hundreds of songs, stories, drawings, and video game projects all lost to the digital ether. It hits this forum particularly hard. What in the absolute fiddlesticks was going on in this thread? What was Dante investigating? How cute was this puppy?I agree, Antenora. It is weird seeing writing so old that you don't even recognize it as your own. |

If I recall, Dante Investigating was when Mr. Dante would go around particular areas, like the woods and his old school. But how will we ever know if he was, indeed, being followed if we can't analyze the picture evidence? How will we ever know if the plant really was poisonous if we can't examine it for ourselves? How cute was the dog? |

At 20 years this website really is a time capsule, not only of all our teenage lives, but kind of internet culture over the years. I hope we never lose proboards and all their 9 employees lolol

Damn what is it with WWE that keeps so many people THAT engaged? I remember in a previous forum server I had a forum on in 2007 also had a WWE forum that was insanely active, even during the golden age of forum boards.

There's something new every week at least, but usually more often I think. And it also has like more than 20 years of history and backstory going on before The Bad Beginning was even published lol One of my best friends got really into WWE years ago and I've slowly but surely been indoctrinated. That cat we rescued, in my avatar, is named Billie Kay after my favorite wrestler who I think you would like Zort lol. |
