my circle tend to only use terms of endearment sarcastically, there were girls in my high school who would condescendingly call you babe which was a bit of a torment on the eardrums. in my increasingly old age, i appreciate them more when an older lady calls me honey or something. old men calling you darl is less preferable. i started to use "my dear" at work to address people because it's rather cute.
what about you? do you use terms of endearment? do you feel like an elderly grandmother? a rupaul contestant? a mageey highschooler?

I always call my best friend, a gay male, bebé (baby) which is confusing for most people because it's usually a cheesy term couples use. It's specially funny when I'm with my boyfriend and I'm talking to my friend and calling him that lol

I call my cat "love" or "sweet man", but I don't use terms of endearment with people. I have an older male friend who calls me sweetheart.

I've called my younger sister Stompy for years now.
I have absolutely no idea why.
Edit: and its not just a term of endearment I never call her anything else lmao. It sounds strange for me to use her given name.

This thread has made me realise I use absolutely no terms of endearment and now I’m wondering why not.
