I made an ASOUE themed sign for a friend, and now my hair smells very strongly of woodsmoke.

How long did that take you to make?I'm currently learning woodworking but that looks truly expert-level.

I love it! Your friend is super lucky to have that as a gift- enjoy your trip to NI! Thank you!! I'm very excited A Very Glittery Christmas Sawing and sanding it down barely took any time, maybe 20 minutes. Carving out and then burning the words took about two days (though this would have been faster if I hadn't been trying so hard to avoid making the house incredibly smoky -- I did most of it while sitting outside, and the wind kept cooling my pyrography tools down so they took ages to burn anything). Then finally I applied the varnish, which doesn't take long at all, just a minute or two per application, but I had to do three layers on both sides, and leave each layer to dry for four hours, so that was another day and a half really. It's really cool that you're learning woodworking! Do you have any projects on the go at the moment?
