hbd to F*** THE DAILY MAIL , who has a moving signature which is very "2008", but also very "i want to learn how to do that"
as well as Dork , to whom we owe three posts, two of which i encourage you to research on your own, but the opening post was the following:
Like actually, who here is the biggest pleb-neb in existence. A really cool member so noobish he is a complete pleb.
I say things a little (or lot) hasty like they do in Romania.
So, I was just browsing on YouTube, and came across protests supporting My Chemical Romance (an alternative rock band). Two months ago, Hannah Bond committed suicide because her parents treated her horribly. The parents blame MCR to defend themselves. They say MCR is emo and encourages suicide, self harm, etc. Do these lyrics sound suicide-encouraging to you?
I am not afraid to keep on living, I am not afraid to walk this world alone- Famous Last Words.
We'll carry on, we'll carry on, and though you're dead and gone believe me, your memory will carry on- Welcome to the Black Parade.
Don't do it, don't do it- Cemetery Drive. And etc. In the Daily Mail, they say that they're a suicide cult who encourages killing, and that they're songs are about where you go when you die and it's better to die. That's not true. Gerard saw a kid down the street all cut up, and he got worried and talked to the kid. He doesn't support it.
bonus fries:
I don't see anything wrong it.
If you love a guy/girl that's your cousin then you should get married to them.
Doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.
that's when I discovered this site as an obnoxious tween as a place to geek over a dead series with people cooler and funnier than me
I wrote my dissertation on Lemony Snicket and got a FIRST!
Oh, yeah!
Just thought I would share this The title was:
Examination of Lewis Carroll’s books Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland (1865) and Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There (1871) and their influence into modern children’s literature, focusing on Neil Gaiman’s Coraline (2002) and Lemony Snicket’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events (1999-2006)
I told Neil Gaiman on Twitter and he congratulated me, which was nice
I'd also like to thank Dante for helping me a lot with it & this wonderful forum for allowing me to bounce ideas around and for just generally keeping me going while writing by reminding me I'm not alone with my love of Lemony.
Thanks for reading! Good luck to anyone who has any future assignments, whether they're focussed on Snicket, or not!
damn i want to read this, as well as dante's dissertation
tune in tomorrow for more twig time
