In 2020, Lisa Brown (DH's wife and occasional collaborator) released a book titled Long Story Short: 100 Classic Books in Three Panels, which is a collection of comic strips summarizing various books and poems. I hadn't heard of it until a week ago when I picked it up at a book shop. Lots of amusing panels, but I was particularly pleased to see one for A Series of Unfortunate Events.

Netflix's was even more realistic, to the point that he DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE SMOKE CLOUD! But this one is a faithful interpretation that also seems realistic.
