I may have had a reason at the time, but I forget what it was now. In any case, all three of the children have two eyebrows and Jacques only had one. It's possible that he just disguised himself my shaving the middle of his brow, though.

I know a ten year old boy and a fifteen year old girl with unibrows. Plus, it would be dangerous for Jacques to disguise himself to look more like Olaf than he could help. It would have been safer to shave off both eye-brows.

Maybe. Also, that would be the one picture of Lemony we've seen, if that actually is a picture of the Snickets. It could still count, because we don't know which one he is.

The pic in the Snicket file? Lemony's the guy with his back turned, isn't he?

Well, there's no solid proof that's him, but it sure looks that way, doesn't it?

We're past realistic mechanics now. I suppose they'd have to crash into a mountain.

I think the entire point is that Hector doesn't want to be able to go to the ground, he just wants to stay up there forever.

No, it's just that page 9 discusses the quags, one of which survived a fire. Likewise page 9 of the snicketfile described a/some survivor(s) of a fire.
