I know that people are gonna jump and yell at me, but I am NOT making a Beatrice thread. I am simply proving that Mrs. Baud might not be K.
Just because the same salad is mentioned both times, does NOT mean that they are the same person. It never specifically syas that the recipe was either one of theirs, it just says that LS says that K's suggestion for a salad was a good idea and Mrs. Baud said that this recipe was easy. K could have gotten the recipe from Mrs. Baud OR vice-versa. End of my ranting.

The OC girl, Jerome and I extend a hand of friendship. Mrs. Baudelaire is also not K because K was busy teaching at Prufrock while the bauds were in the hands of an enemy(Esme) If she was the mother she'd at least have gone to the city to keep as close watch on them as she could.

Well, they went to 667 just a few days after PP. K could've gotten confused.

Of course I agree with you, OC girl. I also extend hands of friendship.
And the salad idea was introduced at a picnic. Could it not be the annual code-breaking picnic VFD has? That way many people could have heard the recipe.
And, I have made and eaten the salad. *shudders* I do not recommend the recipe.

Oh yes I remember that. The salad also LOOKS nice on fancy plates. K merely recommended the recipe, who knows if she ever made it? And how do u know the bauds went to 667 right after Prufrock? Jerome:"I've been expecting u for days and days."

Jerome:"I've been expecting u for days and days." Well, didn't Jerome want the Baudelaire's the moment that the fire happened? I don't have TEE, but I thought he said somthing along those lines. *happily extends hands of friendship with Jerome, Jaques, and snicketfires*

What is a red herring, the salad? I agree, perhaps the alerts were possible red herrings in the stricken stream?

There are salmon in the Stricken Stream. And yes the salad was a red herring concerning K=Baudmom. For reasons mentioned above.
Disclaimer: For no reason is this to turn into a debate about who Baudmom equals.

I still believe that K is Mrs.Baud, but if she isn't, then Mrs.Baud is her own person.

There could've been red herrings in the stream, u never know. Or maybe in the sea that the stream leads to. Do u think we'll ever see K(who isn't baudmom) in the actual series?

Don't tell me to shut up, go to the "How Beatrice could be the baudelaire mother" thread in the Sardonic Series to see my legions of evidence and then debate with me, until then... don't.
