I was watching a TV show on ABC Family called Full House. Well, Bob Sagat who plays Danny Tanner and walks into his family room and sees the pet donkey that Michelle (One of the Olson Twins) bought. It had its head through a picture of Danny Tanners great grandfather. And the neighborhood girl goes, "No I can see the family resemblance." THEN DANNY TANNER GOES, "IF YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR FAMILY GO BUY GORRILAS IN THE MIST." Is Gorrilas in the Mist a real book or movie?

Yeah--I think I rented it when I was 9 and had to do a report on Jane Goodall.

Not to sound too snotty or anything  , but Jane Goodall works with chimps. "Gorillas in the Mist" is about Dian Fossey and she was played by Sigourney Weaver. |

Yes. Dian Fossey was a real person who worked with Gorillas in Africa and was murdered, perhaps by poachers.

I saw that in the video store the other day. DH used "Gorrillas in the Fog" as a bogus Sebald-film.

That would be way more than I want to know. I'm already disturbed at knowing she was hacked to death with a machete. That's all the pain (and more) that I need to think about.
