This is just a thought but with the three siblings thing I think that Mr. Poe, Sir, and Bruce are siblings. I think this because Sir and Bruce both smoked cigars and Mr. Poe might have his cough either for sending a coded message or because he used to smoke cigars.
Just a thought...

was gonna say...
Plus, Sir is definitely not Mr. Poe's brother, or even close relative, because in TMM, Mr. Poe could not even pronounce his name to the Baudleaires... As I remember, his attempts at Sir's name, were:
Mr. Gek-
Mr. Wuz-
Mr. _______
There were about 6, and I wrote all 6 in my commonplace book, but I left it in school, so what are you gonna do...

Haven't thought about that... I mean there is really no connection at all between Bruce and Mr. Poe, but you never know...

That cannot be true.
Bruce is Carmalita's uncle, so one of his siblings must be her parents.
Mr.Poe can be crossed right off.
And Elenora's surname is Poe, so that can't happen.

For a while, I suspected that Bruce was the same person as Sir. They both smoked, although Sir took the habit farther than Bruce. And Sir was said to wear a suit that made him look like a reptile--snakeskin?
By the way, didn't the Snow Scouts say that Bruce wasn't really anyone's uncle? I'll have to check.

Bruce really is Carmelita's uncle, someone, I think it's Quigley, says "That's because Uncle Bruce is really your uncle." But about the sibley thing that is interseting, even though it has been proved wrong.

Well I thought Bruce and Uncle Bruce, the head of snow scouts, were the same person, of course, indicating a wierd thought, saying he was Carmelita's ACTUAL uncle, if that's ideed what Quigley said ;D

Uncle Bruce most likely is Carmelita"s uncle. But why would he start of in the Hepetology buissness and then go on to Snow Scouts? Odd....
