Hey everyone, I'm new (Just so you know)
But As I was re-reading the series this past week, I discovered something that might be a possible theory. Sorry if it has been discussed before, but I didn't see any topics on this matter.
In The Slippery Slope, Lemony hides a letter at the end of the 5th (I think) chapter to his sister, and at the end of the letter he says that her recipe for chilled salad was really good.
Later, Sunny was thinking back about her mom's recipe for chilled salad, and it's the same recipe!
Is the Baudelaire's mother Lemony Snicket's sister?
It says too, in the books that he has a sister and a brother, and all three of them were in VFD...
Just a thought.

Yep, yup, yup, but since I think the baud mom is Beatrice, I'm gonna just say this, and dont cause ANY outburst about how K is the mom: First of all, K couldve just given Beatrice the recipe, then Beatrice would know it, and then Sunny would remember it!
So, there ya go, MY evidence on "the salad", or whatever you want to call it ;D

I guess I understand the Beatrice theory... I just thought the salad recipe could poddibly be a subtle hint...

Welcome! *slaps Danielle* Ow. Also, I was thinking about this theory some more today, and obviously LS's sister is alive, since he is writing to her. This would support the theory that their mom is alive, and Beatrice is dead. The plot thickens. |

I really need to reread TSS... I have read Books the First - Seventh twice, but cannot get past chapter 4 of THH... I just do not feel like rereading that one...
