I agree with J on this one. Welcome! <restrains himself from attacking and saying rude things> I DO NOT believe the theory that K is the baud mom and have fought it throughout at least 3 different threads, one of them on this very board and it has like 16 pages. This theory has been discussed MANY times before and I am exasperated that another thread on it has popped up (not least because I'm fighting the theory). But u r polite and innocent so I will not shout at you and say rude things to you as I have to other people who have supported ur theory. Once again, welcome.

Wow, this board isn't very tolerant is it?
Oh well. I'll deal.
Anyway, like I said before, I read through as many posts as I could, but I didn't see anything on this subject, this board is so huge it's hard to sift through all the posts here.
Lastly, if you don't mind me asking, why are you "fighting" against my theory? What's so wrong with it?

Don't listen to him, go wherever you want to. He's probably just warning you out of DD because he's gotten into a lot of trouble in there, and wants to save you the aggravation. Or because he doesn't respect anyone with less than 200 posts and doesn't think your opinions matter enough to post there. It's hard to tell.
I think that it is likelier for the Baudelaire mother to K than Beatrice. The Baud parents always seemed to have nice laughy personalities, much like the woman who talks about a woman her age chasing down newspapers in the fountain and through city streets. Beatrice, perhaps just because of the tragedy connected with her, seems to have always been on the brink of disaster and barely hopeful at all from the moment of her birth to her death.
On the other hand, maybe K., Beatrive, and Mrs. Baudelaire all just used to cook together.
I wonder Lemony Snicket was ever on the list of potential guardians for the orphans. If, that is, he wasn't already on the run at that time. It seems to me that a brother or ex-fiancee is much more closely related than a third cousin four times removed or a fourth cousin three times removed.

Not that I hadn't already gone into the DD board (Curiosity overwhelms me sometimes. I am a lot like a much heard-about cat.) I would probably stay out of there though because I can be as opinionated as the next guy so I don't feel like getting into any arguments. The whole post-count dilemma amuses me. Just because someone doesn't have a high post-count doesn't necesssarily mean that they are dimwitted or not worthy of entering a discussion. Usually, as in the case of myself, they just discovered this board and was interested in giving or hearing opinions of other members on various accounts of a book in the Lemony Snicket series.

This topic should stop popping up. But it is nice to have someone who somewhat believes me. But what bothers me is that a good thread like this has to break with more Baudelaires' mom stuff. It is tearing the very fabric of this board apart! Don't you realise that? Am I the only person that even cares? (Most likely yes )

Why is it such a big deal about who the mother is? In all truth they are only books. They should never prevent any one person from being kind to others or cause conflicts. What, then, is the point?

It didn't interfere with my ability to be nice, I assure you. I bid you two welcomes and [tried to be] very nice to you. The baud mother thing matters with me because I have spent at least five hours compiling evidence, distributing it over 2 or 3 different threads, and arguing my point with at least 5 people. If I hadn't done those things, it might not matter so much. I do agree that just cause u have less posts doesn't mean ur stupid. There is, well was maybe there still is, a group called members against newbies which I think is mean. Many newbies have a tendency to act stupid and not know about the series or what they're doing so people stereotype them etc... But I just stumbled here by accident and needed to express my views and talk to people with same interests, so I posted so much in such a short time that I wasn't considered a newbie for long... I got here mid january.. well we were all new once, so we should be nice to newbies right?

Yes, I am/was a newbie...I guess, and people still might be holding grudges against me for starting that stupid thread that I ended called im new dont call me a really cool member or newbie get on(my nerves, but never got to finish the sentence).I am totally not with M.A.N, so I'm not going to say anything, but I do say that MynamesJacques has tons and tons of evidence that states that the baud mom is Beatrice indeed, and if I was you, I would TOTALLY not understate it, or question it, and don't even get close to say that the baud mom is NOT Beatrice, at least not around him, or me ;D But other than that, I am going to agree with MynamesJacques, and also say I really don't care what "noobs" or whatever u want to call them, do, so go ahead and do whatever you want on this board(as long as it isn't misspelling ;D).

Thankyou kjsnicket! I go into a fit of rage if someone ignores my evidence and calls me wrong without even reading it, so it's wise to read it and be cautious around me if u don't support me. Things can get dangerous.

MynamesJacques: I would really like to read all the evidence you've collected. Would you mind e-mailing me? I never get enough time on here to go through pages and pages of this forum, so if you could email me ( Queen_random87@yahoo.com) I would be very interested, thanks.
