What if the Volunteers Fighting Disasters(VFD,DUH) were testing the Baudelaires to the extreme with all these disasters. When things got out of hand, they sent Quigley to help. I know it is crappy, but it was my dream and i wanted to remember it.  |

Thats actually pretty good, but its hard to believe that they were in training the whole time.

I've suspected that the Baudelaires were being trained for VFD. Monty, Josephine, and Hector are/were VFDers. Volunteers Fighting Disasters is an interesting theory; never heard it before. What do you mean by using disasters to test the children? Could these people engineer hurricanes?
