I'm hoping that the orphans will join VFD, but I think Olaf will get their fortune. When Olaf is about to kill the orphans, preferably with fire, a VFDer(Lemony perhaps) will save them and recruit them. I'm particularly intrigued by the vague possiblity of a sequel series.

If V.F.D stands for "Volunteer Fire Department", then maybe they are volunteers who set fire to things. I bet Olaf burned their house down, hoping to kill everyone, get the fortune, but now that the 3 orphans survied, well that complicates things.
