HAHAHAHAHA
Ooh, the spine is light blue. Looks like we all lose (referring to that one thread where we all tried to guess GG's spine color--I voted light green).

It's notlight blue, the spine is a sort of mint green colour. And the cover art...is it supposed to say "Art too depressing to show"? Or is it just there temporarily so as we don't find out how the cover looks like until september.

On the Slippery Slope ads, there was a similar message over the cover art. This should be taken to mean "The art's not ready yet, or we just don't want to tell you. But be warned, it is depressing. Don't say we didn't warn you" And it's a lovely mint green color.

The spine is more of a mint color, I agree, and that's so cool! At least we GOT to see the spine color, now we can stop guessing! He just doesn't want to show the art for book 11, he's probably just waiting 'till September 21 to show it. It's kind funy when he puts, 'Art too depressing to show'.

I think it's like "Viewer Discretion Advised"
Mint Green! I think I voted yellow. Oh well. Mint green is good. I geuss yellow is too sunny for such a depressing book.

Nah, I saw a few Slippery Slope adds that did the same thing.
In truth, I thought the book spine would be a lovely dark blue, maybe a cerulean blue. But minty green is cool too. The color is almost like a light, light seafoam green. Its nice! ^_^

I was just about to post this...then I noticed this thread.
Do you think that's the real cover, or just a cover up for now?

Before anything else, I just want to say, or show, notice what's around the edges, or inside lining, whatever you want to call it, of TGG. It has it on every book. Like this: TEE- Ersatz ropes TSS- Little snow gnats TAA- Measuring rulers, or something TCC- I can't really see, but I think it's tickets And so on. If you don't know what I'm talking about, tell me, but I think the lining/middle part, is mushrooms...*looks closer at book cover*.

It's, like, the lining right outside of the picture in the middle.

I saved the image and looked at the border closely. It's teeny tiny snow gnats. I severely doubt the existance of snow gnats in the humid, partly submerged environment of a grotto, so Brett must not have made the border for TGG yet.
