Yes, how does Lemony know exactly what the Bauds say? That seemed really odd to me. And he knows what they are thinking as well. Peculiar.... He's either clairvoyant and telepathic, or just dramatizing their story. Ever seen a historical docudrama? The writers base the story closely on real events, but add dialogue that the historical characters might or might not have said. Replace "historical characters" with "Baudelaires" and you'll know pretty much what Lemony's doing, I think. |

So, it's just guessing is it? Oh well. I had really hoped he carried a tape recorder around and stuck little button mics to the Baudelaires so he would know what they said at all times. Too bad.  |

Maybe the photo was taken where, you could not see the house or the sign.

Maybe the second picture is taken when they are leaving, and Aunt Josephine's House has already fallen off the hillside?

K Sniket is the Baud's mom. in LSUA it says after the Baud's left Prufrok Prepatory School A new teacher, Ms K replaces one the old teachers and the runs of with two Orphans by their ankels. And in the end of LSUA the Sniket family tree shows That J, K and L Are all siblings so lemony is the Baud's uncle.

Yes, I agree. I think that the photo was taken after the Baudelaires went through all of the peril at Josephine's (now destroyed) house.
