Also, I was looking at ihavethesugarbowl's thread, and she gave us a link to an interview with Handler. The interviewer asked: TFK: Have you begun writing the 12th book? Can you share any clues as to what that book will be about? Lemony Snicket: Oh my, yes. Young readers who are fans of Herman Melville’s The Confidence Man, in which one can scarcely tell the characters apart let alone what they are doing, might be excited by the 12th volume. You can look at the link if you want:http://www.timeforkids.com/TFK/class/area/newsarticle/0,18077,698447,00.html I just thought that was odd....I wonder how it connects... Interesting bit of information, although I don't think it gives us a clue to the title. From it I can infer that we will have a lot of characters in disguise, and a lot of the confusing, entangled background story which forms much of the Autobiography. In other words, there will be a lot more to this book than what's happening to the children. The rest of the interview's funny too: TFK: Do you have any advice to aspiring writers? Lemony Snicket: The short answer is 'Look out for open manholes.' But the long answer would be, 'Always have an excuse prepared when you are caught eavesdropping.'
Aye, so true.

Hahaha! That's so funny...
Hmm...what are letters that he hasn't used yet that he COULD use for the twelfth book? I'll list some..if I remember them all, then...all of them..:
D F I J K L N O P Q R T U X Y Z
If I got something wrong, tell me.

Personally, I had thought (when I read the ripped up messages from Lemony at the end) that the title would be something along the lines with fire..... hence, the "anywhere near a match part" .... because Olaf is trying to burn down the last safe place; the Hotel.

I think the 12th book will be called "The Deadly Denouement" and the 13th will be "The Fiery Finale"

All books' titles were practically named after places. Room, Mill, Academy, Elevator, etc. Except for the first book which is "Beginning". Maybe, the last book will be NOT a place. However, Book 12 can be a place again.

I think it's either going to be the Deadly Denouement or the Odius Ocean because the only things that I can see that could be clues are that Hotel Denouement thing and the sea star. How about the Evasive Echinoderm?

how in the world does the Zymology Zone work? I dunno, maybe the Vineyard of Fragrant G/Drapes is near the hotel, or something.

That's a pretty good theory in support of TZZ. Still, I wonder if Lemony would write a book set at a brewery--some might consider that a little out-of-line for a children's series. But the books have been a little out-of-line before, and we've seen alcohol use in them.

I support the deadly denouement and/or the Ominous Ocean. But now i think air devices make take precedence over the sea in this book.. So perhaps a title relating to aerodynamics? (see gg page 120)

I dont think it will be the Odius Ocean cauze they were just in the ocean for the last book. I dont think it will be The Tumbling Towers cauze it would be weird having the book be TTT.

(see gg page 120) Maybe "The Deadly Dirigible"? "The [insert nasty Z adjective] Zeppelin"? Lemony's not likely to reuse letters, but another possibility is the "[Insert nasty B adjective that's not "bad"] Blimp."
