i no one thing is for sure, the lady with the long fingernails who was in the slippery slope, and how i thought was mrs. elenora poe, is gonna be in the twelfth book. what?? The long fingernails came from Olaf's old shirley disguise.... The Lousy lodge has its merits... I don't want Olaf to have a plane! They should go on a VFD plane that gets swatted by Olaf and THEN escape into the sshamh.

Maybe they'll be picked up by Hector's balloon on the way to the hotel, and not get there for a while. Or maybe, before they arrive at the hotel, Olaf will kidnap them in some sort of flying vehicle, from which Hector will rescue them.
I don't remember a lady with long fingernails in The Slippery Slope.

It doesn't sounds bad at all. And it also works cause Handler talked about the word, "lousy" way too much in The Grim Grotto.

Yes, that could have been foreshadowing... I'll add it to my approved plausible list.

I don't remember their fingernails being described in any sort of detail, but they probably had dirty nails--that seems to be a trend among Snicket villains.

this might of already been talked about, but amazon.com/uk version says book the twelth will be the the Omnious Omnibus, will be 624 pages, and realesed on March 1, 2005. Do you think this is true?

The Ominous Omnibus is a group of books, like the package, "The Trouble Begins". Therefore, it is not one book.
(Tell me if I got the info wrong.)
And they seem to be lying or something because...March..the first? I mean, that's good, that's GREAT! But..it doesn't seem likely...and..well...624 PAGES? Just..I highly doubt it...

The long fingernails are in Quigley's story. He finds them at Lucky Smells Lumbermill, and they belonged to Olaf when he was Shirley.
I'd say the plane idea is a good one. The plane is hit by The Carmelita, and then it's crashing down, when Hector and Quagmires save them before it kills them.

The Ominous Omnibus can never be Book the Twelfth. If it is, I'll leave 667. That's how strong my belief is that it cannot be Book the Twelfth.

The Pedicular Plane? The Putrid Plane? The Frightful Flight?

It is a collection of different books put into one book. I looked omnibus up in the dictionary. And Anyway if it was it's like 600 smething pages .
