To me it still seems less like other Snicket books and more like some fanfic that someone is using as a joke. The dedication and the back letter just aren't the same as they used to be.  |

They sound about the same to me.
But what the heck are you guys expecting from Daniel Handler?!!?!! Alot of you are dissapointed by at least one thing, what were you guys hoping to see?!

granted, i was dissapointed at first, but now i realize that i didnt even know what i was expecting it to be. So this is fine with me, along as its actually a good book.

No, TMM is purple. But anyway, about the tile...this sucks. HE BROKE THE PATTERN! You just can't do that like that. I hoped that the first and last books would be like that, but he broke the pattern! On book 12! Aaugh! I'm one of those who cling to some useless hope that that isn't the real title, because...I don't know. This makes me mad. what pattern? the one about it being a place? |

If it is the title then I think it's a good title if it's not the title then it'll be a nice surprise on Tuesday when the book is released

I have almost offical proof of the title. on the books page of LS.com it says "The last book before the last book." under the book. like under the GG it says "More mysterious than the ocean and almost as deep." so it has to do with the book.

All of this reminds me of what happened with Harry Potter 6. Everyone over-hyped the book and when it came out, everyone complained. Basically, this came out of it: it's the author's book to write, not yours. How can you guys critique Daniel Handler on being "wrong" with the title? How can it be "wrong"...it's his book! Personally, I like the title. It made me learn a new vocab word: penultimate.  |

pink would be cool since its the Bauds least favorite color.
But i have a haunch it will be a darker color, nothing light which displays happiness.
