I agree. B&N should not have had them out and the clerk rang it up for you. At least you didn't steal it. THAT would have been wrong. I actually went to our B&N and looked around for boxes. I was not as lucky as Ineedyourhelp.

I work in a bookstore (a big one) and this is an obvious fabrication. The newly shipped books are kept in the back, in a room with a keycode, which customers cannot just "pick up." Furthermore, if a book is sold before its release date, that results in bad things for the store, most importantly the publisher will refuse to sell their books in the store, and from HarperCollins, that would be a huge loss to chain bookstores. While it's cute that you want to be so cool for having read a book before anyone else, I know from personal experience that bookstores utilize MANY methods to keep books unreleased before their laydown dates.

It comes into play. You have to read it to understand it fully.

The sugar bowl, or Vessel For Dissacharides, is on its way to the hotel. This is one of the reasons so many volunteers and villains are gathering, but not the only one.

Fifth: Why would LS, say 'the end is near'...is he referring to the book series ending....or something else?

It depends on how pessimistic you are. I don't think we'll really find out until book 13.
