Baudelaires-drawn Olaf-ditto troupe-as shown in the Bad Beginning rare edition picture right beside me Quagmires-drawn, only with different hair and Isadora looking slightly different than Duncan and Quigley exactly like Duncan Esme-drawn in the hh with devilish eyes and a lipsticked smile Sir, Nero, Monty, Carmelita-drawn Jacques-no, no unibrow, black, unkempt hair gentle, yet scared face Beatrice-whatever your definition of gorgeous may be Lemony- Daniel Handler Hector-tall, late 30s with slightly shabby clothes, NOT plaid pants. council of elders- A bunch of spoiled, elderly fools with ridiculous crow shape hats Mr. Poe- drawn in the wide window(end illustration) with a handkerchief sticking out of his pocket. Lulu-Pale blonde hair from all that powder, a pretty face that is drawn from disguise and faking an accent 24/7

Baudelaires--'zactly as drawn Olaf--as drawn, except maybe with a slightly different nose. And he's second tallest, 'bout...let's say...six-ten. Feet. Lemony--as drawn for everything but the face, which is mostly in shadow because he wears that hat all the time and has it turned down. (To save me the trouble of describing something I can't really describe~ XD) Lucafont--not as thin as he is in the books, a couple inches shorter than Olaf. And his nose isn't as big or red. (Going by the Marvelous Marriage portrait here.) Other than that, everything's the same. Flacutono--comes up to Lucafont's shoulder, actually quite petite and the smallest member of the theater troupe. Is still crazier than the rest of them, though. Wears his wig nearly 24/7 (because it's pretty). His nose also isn't really THAT long, just bigger'n most. Has very pale skin and wears his black robe all the time. (I do not go by the MM portrait for him at all.) Androgyne fat person--Does not, in fact, look like a scary old rich aunt. Looks like the figure running away in Wide Window. Powder-faced ladies--artsy off-Broadway angsty performeresses-- actresses sorry--who wear dark solid colors. Also, their hair is fine and white even though they're quite young. Mistah Pou--Pretty much how he looks in WW... Quagmires--as drawn.

I picture them as Baudelaires- As drawn. Quagmires- As drawn, but Isadora with long wavy hair. Olaf- As drawn. Esme- Contrary to pictures and popular belief, I picture her with bright blonde straight shoulder length hair, tall and slender, high cheekbones, with a straight nose. Very pretty. Jerome- I picture him as a tall and dark haired very attractive man. Lemony- Nothing really, just as he is in his pictures.

first let me say that i loooove brett helquist's illustrations, and i apologize for what i'm about to say. i don't like the illustrations of olaf in the books at all. i don't care how he was described in the first one. yeah, i picture him as extremely tall and lanky, and the unibrow, but i always picture him as much much much younger than he is depicted in the books...i dunno maybe i'm weird, that's just how i think...part of why i think that is cuz in vile villiage i really don't think that someone who looks like olaf does in the illustrations could really pull off the whole detective dupin "it's just not cool" thing....just my thoughts
