I think in the end, by book 13, all the Baudelaires are going to die. Forgive me for my negativity, but these books are very morbid, soloemn, and somewhat disturbing in parts (particularly the parts about Olaf ). It could be the Baudelaires or the Quagmires, but at least three of the 6 children are going to get killed sooner or later...at least that's my thinking. Sorry for disturbing you...carry on your very fantastic dream...

I do think Handler would want to be realistic and kill off at least one kid but people take child death quite seriously. We don't want Mr. Handler being burned at the stake, do we?

I think something totally unexpected is going to happen at the end of the series. It would be too perdictable to kill a Baud, or a Quag for that matter. If Mr. Poe died, I would probably be shocked, but I wouldn't feel like a lost a good friend (ie. Violet, Klaus, sUNNY OR THE qUAGS.)
