Ever since the 8th book, a theatre troupe member has been crossed off the list of living.
Hostile Hospital: The man/woman person perishes in the fire while in the Ward of Nasty Rashes.
Carnivorous Carnival: The bald man with the long nose falls from the wooden plank into the lion pit, taking with him Olivia/Madame Lulu.
Slippery Slope: The powder-faced women walk out, never to be seen again. Not a death.
Grim Gr*****, Books 12-13: Any ideas?
Personally, I reckon that by book the thirteenth, Olaf and Esme will be the last ones surviving. The two of them may very well have lost quite a bit of nerve, because they don't have anybody apart from themselves to back them up.

They've started bickering all the time. I'm hoping he'll do something stupid and Esme will turn on him.

In book 10, the 2 powdered faced ladies don't die, but they walk out of the troupe, and, according to the SS clue, are never seen again.

Right, I've edited it. TGG's troupe-death will most likely be the hook-handed man --- he's survived for too long.

Unless they see the error of their ways, Olaf is probably going to murder the freaks (exactly how is Kevin a freak?) in good time.
