We know they (Jacques and K) are brother and sister.
But for some reason, I was thinking that they were twins. The branch on the family tree with j and k together was what made me think of it. It doesnt really have to do with the plot, but i was wondering...
so, anybody got any info?

That's a cool idea. And it makes sense too.

For some reason, I think that k is Aunt Josephine. In LSUA, pg83 (A letter from R to K) the letter states, "Will you please get these letters to a safe place-perhaps with Ike, or at thst dairy farm you once told me about?" Ike, Josephine? I know this could mean anything- it's just a random thought- what do you think?

It's from the Calendar and the family tree. They branch off as a double branch (hence people thuoght they were married) because they are twins, we are sure because they share a birthday on the Calendar.

And also Josephine doesn't start with K. But a nice thought. Ms. K was an English teacher... *ponders*

Oh, that's right. She was the one giving coded books to her kids at Prufrock Prep, no?

Yup, that's the one. But that makes so much sense! Twins/triplets seem to be a trend in the series, and it goes perfectly with the hints in the backstory merchandise! *wants Calendar 15x more*

And Ms. K is is K because on the picture for that chapter in LSUA he rings her face and writes "will i ever see her again?"

that was her??? anyway, yes K was an english teacher and I support that theory, but K IS NOT the Baudelaire mother, what would she be doing teaching english while her children are in the care of an enemy (Esme) Wow! I just came up with more evidence! "Twins/triplets seem to be a trend in the series." Really? there are only the quagmire triplets so it's not really a trend.
