Why do the Baudelaires never see through Olafs Assistants disguises, I mean, They can do it for Olaf but well the Hook-Handed Man has been used for TRR, TEE, THH and the Baud's never knew it was him. The Bald man was used in TMM and the Powder-Faced Ladies were used in TAA and the Baude's had no idea it was them. Strange?

Actually, I think the powder twins only showed up at the VERY end of TAA, so they didn't really have a disguise. I might be wrong, though, so feel free to hit me with sticks if that's the case.
It's also not that farfetched for them to not see through Flacutono's MM disguise, since they only really saw him three books before (and without the wig, at that). When they had something to define him by, they recognized him in like two seconds in HH. Same with Lucafont (and they did recognize him in HH, due to the tight rubber gloves).
