Seeing how Olaf's hench people are just dropping off like flies, and each time he doesn't seem to give a monkey's head about it. And the white-faced women did seem rather sympathetic toward Sunny. I think that Olaf's theatre troupe may soon abandon him in the end. What does everyone else think?

Well, I don't think Esme will be leaving Olaf to soon and the Hook-Handed Man doesn't ever want to upset the'Boss', although Hugo, Collete and Kevin won't stay. They just aren't evil enough. But what about the Snow Scouts and Bruce. As you know the original V.F.D took young kids to Volunteer so I think Olaf is following old traditions. But anyway here's who died or left in order: -Book the Fourth: Dr. Georgina Orwell (died) -Book the Eighth: Large Person with Unknown Gender (died) -Book the Ninth: Bald Man With Long Nose (died) and Madame Lulu (Olivia) (left then died) -Book the Tenth: Two Powder-Faced Ladies (left and most probably died) -Book the Eleventh: -Book the Twelevth: -Book the Thirteenth:

I think Esme will probably be the only one with him in the end, then she'll die, and Olaf won't really care, and then we'll hate Olaf, and the bauds will kick his butt. ha.

At this point in time I imagine Lucafont to be either insanely, stupidly loyal to Olaf, or completely fed up with him.
Put yourself in his shoes: after watching your buddies get burnt up, mutilated by lions, and walk off into the snowy mountains to probably be never seen again, you're currently trapped in a huge net above the mountains carried by eagles (under control from your own team!) with a horde of irritating Snow Scouts. There are sharp curvy implements on your hands: would you a) kill yourself, b) kill the Snow Scouts, or c) kill Olaf?

I think Carmelita Spats will turn into another Esme. I think theyre will be quite a few fights between them.
Heres what I think the order of the henchmen to die or leave will be.
The Grim Grotto-Hook Handed Man (die) The Deadly Denounment*-Three Freaks (leave) The Pursuing Pirates*-Esme (die)
*=titles that I have come up with.
In the end itll be Olaf and Carmeleta left.

I doubt Carmelita will stay long, Olaf isn't nice enough to run around doing erans for her, as he most likely would be.

I've always thought that in the last book, it will be like the final showdown between Olaf and the Baudelaires. I don't think Carmelita or the freaks will last for too much longer... they're weak anyway. I despise those freaks... I hope the leave or die. Esme will try to stick by Olaf... but I think she will probably die... they're evil love is just too strong or her to just... leave. But a final showdown between Olaf and the kids would be awesome. I honestly don't know who I'd root for...

Theyll have a final showdown and then the Quags and Hector will come and rescue them right when Olaf had them cornered. Cauze of the Duex Ex Machina (or somethin like that)

I think Carmelita will turn into a mini Esme' because Count Olaf might not pamper here, but we all know Esme' will.

A mini-Esme, what a horrible thought. Can you imagine Carmelita and Esme in matching outfits? I think Carmelita and Esme will get along quite well, until Esme gets tired of Carmelita's spoiled-brat demands.

I think that by the end when push comes to shove, all of the troup will have been killed or have left or been apprehended, which when used here means arrested by the police for being accomplice to henious crimes against orphaned children and eagles.
I have the feeling that only Esme and Olaf will remain standing, yet they shall stand victorious over all six orphans. Three Baudelaire children and all the Quagmire triplets (euphorically, yet miserably reunited).
It will be at this stage that the pushing and shoving will begin. Esme and Olaf are too much alike. They are both increadibly self centred and greedy and when such an enormous amount of riches, such as the combined Baudelaire/Quagmire fortunes, is in their grasp, their baser natures will overpower their better judgement and they will destroy each other.
Their destruction may be complete, or it may be just enough that they will finally be caught red-handed (a phrase which when used here means fighting over how best to kill six orphans to get their money). I like the latter, as it still gives Olaf a chance to slip away, but Esme is not so slipperly. Not unless she's on a sled on a steep, frozen waterfall.
