I want Kevin to die, unpleasantly. Everyone in the troupe is tired of him, and maybe Lemony is too. There is no way I can have sympathy for a self-pitying ambidextrous freak show performer, who's actually the least freaky person in the whole troupe.

PLZ DIE KEVIN but I think Lucafont will die instead, then possibly Esme, leaving Olaf and the "new troupe" in the last book. God. I hate the new troupe, they all need to die. Horribly.
The only way being ambidextrous could ever possibly be cool* is if he could do something USEFUL with his hands (no gutter mind folks), like...I dunno, juggle chainsaws. Or his two equally strong hands would be REALLY POWERFUL, so he could break rocks and people's bones with them. I should be writing this series instead of Daniel Handler.
*within the context of the series. Being able to write and draw with both hands is something I actually wish I could do in real life.

Carmalita. Yes, she's a cool person, but that's why she should die...leave the series in a really dramatic way. I'm thinking people prod with random sticks her until she dies.

Yeah, Carmelita too. (Of all the characters to make an important reappearance during SS, did it really, honestly have to be her?)
If Josephine wasn't dead I'd cast my vote for her, though.

Well, Josephine's not a henchman. Or henchwoman. Maybe I should start a poll about who died best, or best deserved to die, or deserves to die twice. I hate Carmelita, but at least she's kind of cute, in a boarding-school-brat sort of way. It seems that Olaf will burn down her house with her parents in it. Then maybe she'll die. Maybe she'll die from sniffing at poisoned cake. Poetic justice!

I love Carmelita! xD If anything I hope she's the last one standing. (which I know she won't be). But anyway. I voted Kevin because, he's getting annoying, and the troupe is getting tired of him, and frankly I don't blame them.

I don't want Carmelita to go, no. She's too funny.
I want Kevin to go. He's so annoying.

Most everyone voted for Kevin. I wonder if Lemony comes to this board, and if this poll will influence him in any way, inspiring him to kill Kevin off. Perhaps he has it planned already, along with the deaths of every other henchfolk. Anyway, die, you ambidextrous griping bundle of obnoxous self-pity! Assuming that you, Kevin, the fictional character, are somehow reading this. Who voted for Colette? I think she should die after Kevin. She's almost as annoying as he, and her name is hard to remember the spelling of. Double L? Double T? Both?

I don't think she'll die. It doesn't fit in. Book 11= Two freaks die Book 12= Freak and Hooky Book 13=Olaf and Esme I think Carmelita will turn good by the end of the series.

I seriously doubt Carmelita will turn "good," but I don't think she will be evil. Just her snobby, superior self.

It would appear my conviction on this matter is far from strong. By the time I had finished reading the thread, I had completely forgotten who I'd cast my vote against. Odd.
Now, were I a fangirl, acting in fangirl ways, I'd have to vote that Esme die, as that would free up Olaf for one whose wiles where worthy. However I think Esme is an even more fantastic villian than Olaf himself and though I'm sure Mr. Snicket found she met a sticky end in his research, I do not wish it on her. She's just so... 'in'.
The person who is not 'in' and never will be is Hugo. Horrid, deformed hunchback. He should have his hunch removed. Either that, or go and live in a church, hiding away from society and ringing the bells to annoy the locals until they storm the church and execute him for being a nuisance.
Kevin should strangle himself with his equally strong hands.
My, I am in a murderous mood today. *hefts the flame thrower to a sit more comfortably on the shoulder* I think I'll go to the library.
