By "best death", I mean "coolest, most dramatic, funniest, most deserved, most tragic, most ineffably Snicket-y". Or however you judge the demises of fictional characters. You decide.

The Baudelaire parents death was by far the best. Fire + Baudelaire= YES! Teehee.

Honestly, I have to say either Flacutono's/Lulu's or Monty's. Monty got murdered with his own snake venom which is cool, but nothing beats getting mutilated and eaten by a pack of hungry lions.

Honestly, myself, I LOVED(?) Georgia Orwell's death! I mean, slic-and-diced like Darth Maul in Star Wars!
However, I voted Josephine because the way the Baudelaires worked to solve the clue, get over to Curdled Cave, get Josehine, TRIED to get the Leeches away and then Olaf comes and just pushed Josephine overboard was an, unfar if anything, twist. I felt their pain!

I loved Dr. Orwell's death! It was gruesome and she deserved it!
I wander if she twitched a bit after she was sliced in half...

I wanted her swoooord. Crap, if she wasn't dead I would totally put her in Avanti Grind House.

Orwell's death was fun, but a bit of a Deus Ex Machina. How convenient that she backed into the sawblade. But how logical that she had wanted to cut someone up with it, but got cut up herself. That's poetic justice, and it's good. And how nice of Snicket to put the gory bits "off-camera". In a film of The Miserable Mill, they'd have a shot of the mill and you'd hear[glow=red,2,300] "WHRRRRRRRR!!!!!!AAAAUUUUUUGGGGGGHHH!!!!!!"[/glow] Cut to scene in library with Sir saying "Dreadful, dreadful, dreadful"!

Actually, I rather liked Monty's death. Getting stabbed with a hypodermic needle full of poison is a rather cool way to die. Which is not to say that I want to die that way. I haven't made any plans whatsoever for my death; maybe I should. Anyway, Orwell's death was nice and gory, even if off-camera.
