Of course!! She died so--well, you could just picture it!! Blood and gore flying out of the blades. Imagine, a family getting their house made out of a woman.

Is the androgynous person dead? I must have missed that one, somehow.

Yes, he/she died in Heimlich Hospital, and is therefore listed on my poll as "the large genderless humanoid". Dying in a fire is too commonplace in Snicket's world to get my vote as coolest death. Since I'm in a rating mood at the moment, I'll give the androgyne's death a C.

I'd have to say being eaten by lions is a fairly spectacular way to go.
The Romans seemed to enjoy that sort of thing, way back when. Those Romans. They knew how to live. Excellent wine, fine food and the feeding of slaves and prisoners to the lions for light dinner entertainment.
Of course, in this case, it was more of a BBQ than a fine feast.

Yes, I put Olivia down for that reason. And also because it was so terribly tragic. Have you read the short story, "The Lady or the Tiger"? Your post reminded me of the barbaric nature of those people. Yeah. You should read it. ;D

Goddamn, that story makes my head explode whenever I read it. I CAN'T DECIDE X____X Yeeee, me too! One moment I am sure its the lady, true lovers would never kill one another and all that. But then I put myself in the barbaric lover-woman's place and I think that I would difinitely chose the tiger...I think. We had like a thirty-year discussion of it in my English class. 15 people thought it was the tiger, and 6 thought it was the lady. I didn't vote. So much for true love.
