Well, on page 32, Olaf talks about the start of his career as an actor. He says that he was the most handsome young fellow at his school, and then one day a young director came....that young director has to be Gustav Sebald. In LSUA, it shows a picture of him making the snowman, when he was still a director, they said. So Count Olaf's first role must've been Young Rolf in Zombies In The Snow, and Gustav asked him to be Young Rolf. Is this information right? Discuss.

That was the first thing that came to mind when I read that part, too. There might've been a part for him that wasn't Young Rolf - but he most certainly must have been in a production of Dr. Sebald's. Unless I'm missing something very important.

No, you got most of it right. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. ;DCause Sally said, in her letter to Lemony, that the person who played Young Rolf slipped her mind-Omar maybe? Maybe Omar is really his real name. Like, the town of V.F.D called him Omar. So did TDP, but it's a fat chance.
