Whenever I read the books, I find myself contemplating which of the Baudelaire orphans' talents I would want for myself. While Violet's inventions are quite spectacular, Klaus's intellect and memory are very impressive. And yet...to have to ingenius biting skills of Sunny Baudelaire!
I've come to the conclusion that I would most likely want Violet's abilities, as I'm sure quite a few of you will, too - but for the sake of debate, which skill would you choose, and why?

Hmmm... I think I'd have to take Klaus's research skills, just because there are so many times I bore myself to tears reading and reading and reading (especially for school projects). I wish I could be as fascinated with everything as he is, and read about whatever it may be to no end. That boy has some determination, and can... define a mean word?
Much as I'd like Violet's quick-thinking and inventiveness, science really doesn't interest me like it should, so inventing's not my cup of tea. Now if I could read like Klaus, I would lead a happy and fulfilled life™.

I would want Violet's inventing skills. I think it would be cool to invent like the next mirical product or something. And inventing would come in handy for school and stuff.

I'd want to be as mechanically inclined as Violet; if I was, I could improve my grades in wood shop. Since I'm no longer actually taking wood shop, it seems like a moot point, but Violet's my favorite orphan. But how useful it would be to have an almost unrealistically resourceful mind....Think of the everyday applications!

Violet's inventing skills. The sheer fun and knowledge in being able to create machines and helpful objects is amazing.
