Grades? Can you tell me exactly what age you get put into certain grades as I live in England and we have years over here. The grades I said were only examples, but I'll tell you them anyway. Grade 1: 6 years old Grade 2: 7 years old Grade 3: 8 years old Grade 4: 9 years old Grade 5: 10 years old Grade 6: 11 years old Grade 7: 12 years old Grade 8: 13 years old Grade 9: 14 years old Grade 10: 15 years old Grade 11: 16 years old Grade 12: 17 years old

Leaf, the Quagmires were "a little older then Klaus and a little younger than Violet," paraphrasing, so they would be around 13-13, just so you know.
You think Fernald is half Fiona's age? Yeah, that could make sense...
What about Mr. Poe?

i disagree with Esme' age. i think shes around 36, and lies about her age. . . going through her midlife crisis, or something (when my aunt went through hers, i got 2 go sky diving!!! fun!!!!)

I think Duncan, Isadora, and Quigley are all about 14-15. I pictured Carmelita looking like she's about 12 in the AA and about 14 in the GG. I always pictured Esme at least in her early 40's! I pictured Kit about 33-35. I pictured Mr. Poe about 41 at the beginning of the series and about 43 or 44 at the end. I pictured Count Olaf to be in his late 50's but he could be as old as his late 60's even. Sunny's about 1 or 2.

Here's a handy relationship chart: www.heather5.com/cousin.htmlIf Olaf is the Baudelaire's fourth cousin three times removed, then his great great great grandfather or grandmother is the same as their great great great great great great grandfather or grandmother. GGGGGGg---GGGGGg--GGGGg--GGGg--GGg--Gg----g--f--B's GGGg ---------GGg---------Gg---------g--------f--------Olaf So Olaf is in the same generation as the Baudelaire's great grandfather. If he's their third cousin four times removed he's one generation older than that. Counting 20 years each for three generations plus Violet's age, Olaf's probably in his seventies or older. (It can be less if one line was consistently earlier in having children than the other).
