please tell me you were kidding about the song, no offence but how can you love somebody you have never even met? I hope I'm not sounding pessimistic but it is true!

this was a long time ago so i cant remember very well. Well back in the old days when Ancient Greece was still alive and bustling, the Greek's had Spring Festival's where they would sacrafice goats to the gods to make them happy. And they would sing "goat songs" hence the name tragedy. It was really along time ago and i have the worst memory. so you may just want to look it up in an encyclopedia.

but i just looked it up and it talked about something else we covered. i remember this better. I think it was Sophocles, but im not sure (too many tragic writers). He wrote this play about this boy who was seperated by his mother and father at a very young age. He then lived with some people who adopted him. After leaving there house to start his own life when he was in his 20's he met this beautiful women who he loved. Then he killed her husband, so he could marry her. And in the end he finds out that the beautiful women is his mother and the man he killed is his father. He ends up blinding himself and becoming a begger. Rather tragic. I think thats right. I know i messed up something. The play is called Oedipus Tyrannus
You guys should read some of these, there rather funny. Theres some more worse than this one, but i thought this one was the funniest.

dont go changin your name just cuz it means "goat song". There was like 6 pages of discussion about you not changing your name in the Moderator/s thread in Announcements. You dont want to go through that again now do you? We can change the meaning to something else. it can just mean Tragedy. Any way Goat Song is just an old meaning.
